Photography isn't difficult (HAH!!) you point the camera, punch in the settings and boosh, picture. That's the last 5% of any image..in my opinion anyway.
60% is made up of practice, the unpaid work, the learning, the innovation, trying things out, screaming, nearly getting it, trying again, head scratching, EUREKA it working, screaming (happy screaming), then perfecting, then realising it could be better, so back to innovation and planning and the screaming, so round and round we go.
The last 35% is me and you..or you and I to be grammatically correct. Not the biggest chunk, but the most important. It's me understanding what you want to say with the images we create, what's the story? Every picture has one, some are small, short stories that aren't very interesting, but a story none the less.
There's a picture on my home page of a crowd going insane with two boxers in the ring at the end of a fight, just writing about that picture makes my hairs stand on end and I tingle all over, those stories, they're EPIC!!! I'll tell you that one some day.
So have a look around, check everything out and if you're just looking for the 5%, I may not be for you, but if you're all in, well my friend, lets get to it!!
